Falkus Joinery are part of Get Ready to Supply’s Women in Construction strand. The team have been working with the Marketing Manager at Falkus, Katy Carter. Katy is responsible for managing marketing activities and sourcing new business development opportunities.

Sehri Mirza, Newable Project Manager, is the matching and opportunities expert of the team has introduced Katy to a number of buyers. Katy also attended a Digital Presence workshop where she met with buying decision makers at Mace as well as a construction PR specialist from Ridgemount PR.

 

The workshop was arranged by Get Ready to Supply’s Digital Marketing advisor, Tiina Evans, who delivered a dynamic presentation on the importance of digital presence within the construction sector. Following the workshop, Tiina has been providing Katy with in-depth digital marketing support during one-to-one sessions and has supported significant improvements in both Falkus’ website development and social media management.

Result

As a result of the one to one meeting with buyers such as Higgins Construction, Stortford Interiors and Mount Anvil, Falkus Joinery have successfully won two contracts with Stortford Interiors and are participating in the tendering process for three Mount Anvil contracts.
