Despite pandemic-driven setbacks, entrepreneurship flourished through COVID-19, with small business owners demonstrating innovation and resilience. It also fuelled a fresh wave of female entrepreneurs. Newable has supported over 2,000 businesses, ran by female entrepreneurs or majority owned by women, over the last two years. This event will look to bring together 150 ambitious business owners, to discuss a host of topics geared towards building momentum for accelerate growth in 2022 and beyond.

The event will take place on Wednesday 27 April at The Insurance Hall in the heart of the City, Newable’s latest event space. The building was once home to the UK insurance sector for over 80 years. The space is steeped in history and architectural significance and offers businesses room for receptions, AGMs, seminars and meetings.

In the free-to-attend event, Newable has joined forces with Innovate UK EDGE, with support from JPMorgan Chase, to hear the latest insights and practical advice from inspirational leaders and business experts to reconnect, renew and relaunch business growth. Topics will include transformation, finance and investment, purpose, people and collaboration, society and environment and digital marketing.

Host, Bolaji Sofoluwe, managing director of ETK Group, will be joined by keynote speakers Dame Inga Beale, business woman and former CEO of Lloyd’s of London, Chrissie Rucker OBE founder of The White Company and Gold Patron of The Prince’s Trust, along with Vanessa Vallely OBE, managing director of WeAreTheCity, SocialB’s CEO, Lynsey Sweales, Innovate UK’s head of equality, diversity and inclusion programmes, Dr Emily Nott, and FlexiDev’s founder, Fareita Udoh.
