We are thrilled to announce that Newable Advice has joined the ranks of ARC, CMS, JCA, and LFS, our portfolio companies, in achieving the ISO 14001 certification. This internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems (EMS) provides a robust framework for continual improvement of our environmental performance.

By adhering to the ISO 14001 standard, we are taking proactive measures to minimise our environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve our environmental objectives. This commitment reflects our dedication to sustainable practices and our responsibility towards the environment.

Newable Advice has set ambitious benchmark targets and is now closely monitoring these:

  1. 100% of paper used in the office will be from recycled origin, reducing our demand on natural resources.
  2. We aim to achieve Net Zero CO2 emissions by 2030, contributing to global efforts against climate change.
  3. 100% of Advice staff will complete annual training on Environmental Awareness, fostering a culture of sustainability within our team.
  4. Our Aldersgate Office is now certified to the ISO14001 standard, demonstrating our commitment to environmental management.
  5. We have created Environmental Considerations for key Newable Contracts, ensuring our business partnerships align with our environmental values.
  6. We aim for a 10% annual increase in the uptake of Volunteering Days with Environmental aspects, encouraging our team to contribute to environmental causes.

By identifying these targets, we can focus our efforts and be confident that we are taking measurable steps to improve our impact on the environment. We are particularly mindful of waste, energy use, and employee engagement in our environmental strategy.
